kashmiri Masala mix locally known as "ver" is a combination of various aromatic spices and it is used very commonly in the kasmiri kitchen. The masala mix is a combination of various ground spices and a indigenous variety of Green onion known as pran (shallots). Pran is very aromatic and potent, just a little quantity of it takes to the next level.Along with pran,spices like ginger, garlic,cumin, fennel seeds,kashmiri Red chilli, Big cardamom, Green cardamom,Black pepper, cinnamon, and a few strands  of saffron are added to it. The spices are all ground and mixed together to make this exotic spice mix.

Using Kashmiri Masala

You just need to use small portions of the Masala ver and add them to your recipes. Here is how the masala can be used in a number of ways. The best part is that it can be used throughout the year.
